WP2 Workshop: Assessing Regional Bioeconomy and Innovations

RIBES recently held a productive workshop meeting as part of Work Package 2, where project partners convened to delve into the bioeconomy landscape of participating regions. This workshop aimed to pinpoint the dominant forms of bioeconomy, identify key social innovations contributing to this sector, map out bio-based products and value chains, and examine specific policy instruments or initiatives in place.

The WP2 workshop was instrumental in enhancing the understanding of the regional bioeconomy and the social innovations driving it. By identifying key products, value chains, and supportive policies, the workshop has set a solid foundation for further activities within Project RIBES. The insights gained will guide the development of tailored governance and business models, fostering a circular bioeconomy that is both innovative and inclusive.
