Kostas Dasopoulos from Q-PLAN International, a partner of the RIBES project, represented the project at the Changing Cities VI International Conference. During the conference, he introduced an important tool developed in collaboration between the ROBIN and RIBES projects.

The Environmental Protection Planning Tool is designed to evaluate environmental performance and identify non-environmentally friendly practices. It then assists users in creating effective environmental protection plans to promote sustainability. This tool is especially beneficial for policymakers, local authorities, and relevant stakeholders, as it helps them improve environmental sustainability in cities and regions. It aligns with the principles of the circular economy and the bioeconomy, promoting responsible and eco-friendly practices in urban planning and policy development.

This presentation highlighted the ongoing efforts of the RIBES project to support sustainable development and create impactful tools for the green transition.
